Lindum Farm

Roger and Angela Dring run their family farm Lindum, some 320km north of Perth with the assistance of their three children and staff. They farm mostly broadacre crops including wheat, barley, lupins and canola and they also run a small flock of merino sheep.

Roger and Angela are passionate about farming and the food they produce. Their life experiences of travelling and working on farms abroad inspired them to open their doors to others to share what its like to live on a working West Australian farm.

They offer simple cottage accommodation for up to six people where guests can enjoy an evening campfire and sensational stargazing. Exclusive camping opportunities abound for travellers who are fully self sufficient. Bushwalking in private pristine bushland is available to guests keen to explore abundant wildflowers (including orchids) and native birds and wildlife of the Mid West region. Seasonal variations can occur thanks to Mother Nature.

The farm also boasts several breeds of heritage poultry where you may purchase fertile eggs or chicks, and guests are bound to find some fluffy day olds in the brooder box. Children encouraged, teens can learn to drive and well-behaved pets are welcome.

Lindum is perfectly located to explore wildflower country in spring and is a great stopover for northward travel. Lindum Farm Stay can provide quality home cooked meals and accommodation for business travellers.

Roger and Angela welcome your enquiry to experience a taste of rural Western Australia.

Great place to stay and everyone in the region is just so friendly and helpful. Found so many beautiful wildflowers and birds. Thanks a million . - Cathy and Roger, Melbourne, September 2019

Thank you Ange and Rog for a wonderful week at your farm. Such a peaceful retreat – stunning location, wildflowers, starry nights and a cosy cottage. My dogs loved the space too – thanks you for making them so welcome. Great to get to know you both a bit also. See you next time. - Mark, Subiaco, September 2020.

Count the stars in the sky and that’s how many we would give you for a remarkable farmstay experience. Ange and Stellar, thank you!! Food delicious, hospitality, the cottage, the farm tour, the “film star” chickens all utterly wonderful. The wildflowers secretive but worth the hunt! - Helen and Keith, Armadale, August 2020
